LSI (Vladimir Putin)

LSIs are contained. Containment is the regulation method of the LSI, given that emotional leakage under pressure can create operational vulnerability. Expression and apology are rare, not because he lacks feeling but because feeling does not drive decision. He keeps his emotional economy very tight and remains operationally-driven. Everything is subordinated to execution. Mission outranks comfort, ego, and sentiment. He tolerates others’ resentments, misunderstandings and personal coldness.

LSIs are intentional. Intentionality is a defining feature. He does not move impulsively. His decisions are often considered and calculated. Even when fast, they are deliberate. He moves with purpose and models consequences beyond the immediate result. His intentionality includes at the least second-order thinking and also projects consequences one or more layers deeper, ruminating over long-term ripple facts and the domino effects of escalation.

LSIs are hierarchical. Structured hierarchy is respected. The Putin aligns himself with superiors who are clear, competent and legitimate. However, he becomes cold and internally resistant to those weak, soft, arbitrary or even political. He does not give loyalty to personality but only to function. Likewise, he is dysregulated by sloppiness and can’t stand either emotional indulgence under pressure or arbitrary rule-breaking. Incompetence disguised as individuality merits his disdain. He leads primarily to accomplish objectives, and not for admiration or personal glory. Dominance is never performed theatrically.

LSIs are orderly. Order is enforced because order is necessary. Authority is functional, procedural and tactical. He knows well how to use rank as a tool and insists on a hard standard of competence. On the flipside, he struggles in environments where authority is informal. Softness is barely tolerated. People are evaluated coldly. As a commander, he demands discipline but himself is willing to take physical risk and demonstrate competence. His harshness is protective because he understands that battlefield incompetence equals death. His hardness downwards the chain of command is not cruelty but preparation.

LSIs are secretive. Instead of open confrontation with rivals, the Putin prefers to exert control indirectly. He seeks to contain externally just as he contains himself internally. In this manner, control flows through invisible pressure, not visible dominance. Knowledge becomes currency. The LSI well understands that if they control who knows what, they control outcomes. Threats are rarely eliminated all at once but rivals are gradually removed. The Putin can wait years to eliminate rivals, avoiding premature confrontation and enduring insults quietly. They are masters at striking when vulnerability peaks. The Putin excels at consolidation.

LSIs are calculating. Aggression is structured and utilitarian. In action, he can be quite aggressive but not impulsively or reflexively so. Aggression is controlled and directed, like the smoke rising off ice. He will escalate in conflict out of necessity more so than out of ego, and if required, he will apply overwhelming force. He possesses high force capacity. However, he does not look for conflict, does not enjoy dominance displays and does not need to win socially. He moves into confrontation when the situation demands it. Aggression is a tool, not a thrill.
